On Saturday, October 3rd, 2009, Critters For The Cure is hosting a Women’s Doubles Round Robin Tennis Tournament at The Kentlands in Gaithersburg. This fund raiser event is for women’s cancer as October is breast cancer month. The tournament’s tax deductible donation of $50 will get them an afternoon of tennis, as well as “Open Clinics” throughout the day. A Champagne Celebration will follow at The Kentlands Clubhouse where awards will be given out to the first and second place teams. Our 2010 Until We LICK Breast Cancer Calendar and Critters Speak Magazine will be unveiled as well during the awards celebration and guests will be able to meet the 12 models in person. Our 2010 calendar was shot in front of The Kentlands Mansion back in April.
Interested tennis players are requested to download a tournament registration form here or at the Kentlands Foundation site. If you don’t have a partner…don’t worry, we will find a partner for you to play with on the 3rd. It should be a great day of fun and exercise and a great way to meet other tennis enthusiasts. Join us on Saturday, October 3rd and spend a day playing tennis while helping CFTC raise money for women battling cancer who are either uninsured or under insured with financial gaps. If you are a beginner and are not ready for tournament play…then just attend our clinics throughout the day and work with the pros to improve your game.
